Waiting for the Moon • The Astrology of Pouring Money Candles

At the time of writing tis post it was 8:30 AM Eastern here at the Studio. I am now waiting for the movement of the heavens and the best alignment of the luminaries (Sun & Moon) to pour for Money Candles to attract wealth.

Many calendars show that the Sun moving in to Capricorn (a cardinal Earth sign) yesterday, the 21st of December, and in some locations that may be true.

Here at 8:00 Am the Sun  is just 0 degrees and 8 minutes into Capricorn, in the Second house, the house of Taurus.

This is very fortunate for the Moon is  at 18 degrees 59 minutes Taurus, the planet of the second house! At 10:00 AM the Sun will be 0 degrees and 13 minutes Capricorn and the Moon 20 degrees and 9 minutes Taurus.

I will begin the process of smudging and cleaning the candles worship at 9:00 AM and I believe I will begin to melt the wax about 10:00 AM EST. I have a very small window to pour today as there are only 30 degrees to each house of the Zodiac.

At 4:00 AM on Wednesday the Moon will have moved into the sign of Gemini and the power of  the Earth energy will be lost for the pour.

An early start today may allow time for the 6” x 2” pillars to cool and be taken from the mold so that I may pour a second collection. This natural palm wax - from a renewables vendor! - melts at 200 degrees, so it can take up to three or four hours for the candles to cool enough to slip form the mold.

I will decide the color and fragrance at the time of pouring. Most always, Money candles are a shade of green and will include Bayberry fragrance as well a mixture of other scents that are traditionally used to attract wealth, heal the mind and spirit from thoughts of fear and lack.

The candles are always placed in cellophane sleeve once they are finished to ensure that the always smell first day fresh no matter when you buy them. I will post an announcement and put a shopping cart button on line when they are are.

I intend to have at least 24 for sale and more if time permits.

Update 10/2020: I am no longer pouring candles. Thanks to all who supported the magic. Peace

Success Candles • Sun Aries, Waxing Moon Leo • Spiced Fire Fragrance • Limited Collection.

Golden

Hand poured on 3/30/15 at 6:30 PM EDT, this collection of Success Ritual Candles was poured for meditations to manifest confidence, and success in any endeavor. Instructions, a very effective affirmation and the ephemeris are all included on the label to help you manifest the success you dream of.

For this Moon Pour on on 3/30/15 at 6:30 PM EDT,  the Sun was in the Cardinal Fire sign of Aries. Fire signs vibrate in a direct, energetic & masculine energy frequency. Aries is the sign of “I Am” and thus an excellent sign to help bring forward confidence, energy and enthusiasm for any project.

Cardinal signs are initiating signs, which means they have the great “pushing energy” that brings forth the new season. It is always useful to pour for success when the Sun is in a cardinal Fire sign.

For this pour,  the Moon was waxing to full in the Fixed Fire sign of Leo, which, in  addition to bringing the qualities of the element of Fire to the candle, also brings the energy of a Fixed sign to the pour.

Fixed signs are perfecting and finishing signs, and as such they are an excellent energetic compliment to the cardinal energy of Aries. The key words for Leo are “I Will”.  The benefit of using a moon poured candle that is specifically made at a point of time/energy that is attuned to the purpose of your candle is that you will have a ritual candle that is already one with your purpose and may be burned at any time.

Flame Orange

A double Fire Sign pour is excellent for success in all life areas, however particularly useful for spiritual development and for business.  I now have a total of 21 for sale to the public. Fifteen  are “Golden” and six are "Flame Orange”.  All are Spiced Fire fragrance, which is a custom blended scent using citrus, spice & other fragrances that have been used for centuries to cal down or evoke power, glory, success, and wealth. They are all sold now. To find the newest Moon Poured candles of Success Ritual as well as other esoteric goods and services visit the Mystic Store.

It is critical to note that all pours by Ann George Studios, Inc are intended to be of the greatest benefit to all beings, every pour.  A few of the key aspects of this candle are:

• Venus in Taurus (the sigh of “I Have”) Trine Pluto in Capricorn (cardinal Earth sign)
• Sun in Aries Conjunct Uranus in Aries
• Sun in Aries Trine Saturn in Sagittarius
• Jupiter in Leo Trine Uranus in Aries.

If you are new to the study of astrology, please explore the benefits of Trine & Conjunct aspects at your leisure. There are so many more fortunate aspects to this pour. All the info is available for you if you cast an ephemeris at http://chaosastrology.com

On October 31, 2011 at 10:30 PM, in sacred space, with focused intent, Protection candles were hand poured by practicing mystic and Usui Reiki Master Ann George.

For centuries, this date has been acknowledged as the time when the veils between the worlds is thinnest. Rituals, spiritual practices and chants have been done for to invoke energies from other realms.

In an effort to ensure that your home, your energy body, your personal environment remains clean, sacred, and protected from unwanted spiritual energies, Ann George hand pours Protection candles for your benefit.

Candles are scented with traditional herbal fragrances used for many years for protection; to ward of evil spirits; to remove negative energies and to purify the environment.

Each candle comes with ritual instructions, an effective affirmation, as well as an ephemeris for those who are familiar with astrology. (This year the Waxing Moon was in Capricorn in the 5th House, and the Sun in Scorpio in the 3rd.)  Natural palm oil wax gives the candle a raven's wing texture. Protection Candles - Dove Grey Natural Wax Candles by Ann George

Moon poured Protection candles were hand poured in sacred space with clear intent on October 31, 2010 at 8:00 PM EDT. All Hallows Eve, also known as Samhain (Celtic) or Nos Galan Gaeaf (Welsh), has been celebrated for centuries. Sacred or Holy days that are traditionally observed for a special purpose are excellent time to pour candles as the energy or intent of that day blesses the pour.

In Western traditions All Hallows Eve has long been regarded as a day when veil that separates the world of the living from the realm of the dead is thin, and ancient traditions made this day either one of making offering to the dead or of taking care to ensure that the dead did not disturb the living.

I pour candles on this day with the intention that sacred space is maintained for the user of the candle. It may seem strange to some, but over the past ten years, it feels as if I am energetically welcomed to pour by those energies that abide in unseen spiritual realms.

Just as we are careful when we travel to a new city or country, so too is it wise to be careful when we travel between the worlds. Those who are new to divination, or who are are in active occult practice will find these candles very useful, as the candles are "charged" to ensure that unwelcome, malevolent, disruptive or damaging spiritual energies do not cross the veil. As well, they are a fragrant and visual offering for those who wish to honor the gatekeepers as well as to remain focused on the work at hand.

The above observations may seem grandiose on my part, only if you forget that the magic is in your mind, and the candle is a tool to help focus your intention to create and keep sacred space. As well, should it be the case that your sacred space has been disturbed in some way, this candle is an excellent tool to help you return your environment to a healthy vibration. More information on this concept is available online in the House Blessing page of my store.

A brief review of the planetary aspects of the pour show that the Waning Moon was in Leo in the 12th House, and the Sun in Scorpio in the 4th. These natural wax candles are scented with rosemary, cedar, cypress, frankincense, myrrh & other ancient fragrances for psychic and spiritual protection. Prayers were said, mantra chanted, and the natural wax melted slowly in pots of boiling water. The energy of Fire and Water united to melt the Earth aspect ( wax ) in the Air energy of spoken sacred sounds.

To chart the ephemeris and an overview of the aspects of the pour which occurred at 8:00 PM EDT, you will need the following co-ordinates: 30° 19' 54" N / 81° 39' 20" W. I prefer to cast the ephemeris feature online at Chaos Astrology.

If you care to purchase one, please know this is a limited collection. (An interesting note is that this collection of candles were poured in a month of five Fridays, five Saturdays, and five Sundays. This pattern of five days repeats every 11 years or so.) I have twelve for sale at present at a cost of $40.00 each. Shipping is Free in the USA. I do not ship out of the country.

Due to the energetic nature of these candles, which have not been handled by any one other than their maker, returns are not accepted and all sales are final.  Please contact me before you purchase if you have any questions. Money Candles are Ready for Sale - Hand Poured in the Earth Signs

The new collection of Money Candles was hand poured by Ann George on December 27, 2009. On this day, the Sun was in the Cardinal Earth sign of Capricorn and the Moon was waxing to full in the Fixed Earth sign of Taurus.

The location of the pour was 30:31 West, 81:72 North. The time of the pour was 2:00 PM EST. Should you choose to review the planetary aspects of the pour, please visit Chaos Astrology to create an Ephemeris of that day.

The natural palm oil wax used gives this candle it's feather-like finish finish. An ephemeris for all aspects of the pour is included on the back of the label (not pictured) for your reference. Money candles are scented with Bayberry, Clove, Cinnamon and other herbal, or spice fragrances that have been used for centuries to attract money, wealth, abundance and prosperity.

For those new to hand poured candles by Ann George Studios, Inc., please know these candles are poured in sacred space, with clear intent.  These are not mass produced pillars, but carefully crafted candles poured at the best time to help you manifest your desires. The magic is in your mind... the candle is a tool to help you focus and amplify your intention.

I will review a few of the more important energies that are poured into your ritual candle on this day. Of course the most fortunate energy to capture is the Earth sign energy, and I was able to do that for both the luminaries ( Sun & Moon ).

Earth signs are excellent signs under which to take action to attract wealth, business, money, new customers and new possessions. Earth sign energy is magnetic and nurturing, which implies not only the attraction of things desired, but the ability to care for those acquisitions.

Capricorn energy is known to be analytic and attentive to money matters, as is Taurus energy. While Capricorn energy initiates, Taurus energy perfects. That the Moon Taurus was waxing to full is beneficial in that waxing moons are good to attract things one wants to increase.

Other fortunate aspects I will not go into detail about here are:
Sun Capricorn trine Moon in Taurus
Sun Capricorn conjunct Venus in Capricorn
Sun Capricorn conjunct Pluto in Capricorn
Venus in Capricorn conjunct Pluto in Capricorn

I encourage you to make use of the many excellent links out to the Astrology Blogs listed on this site. There are about 18 candles left from this pour. They sell for $27 each with Free Shipping by Priority Mail in the USA only. Ann George Studios, Inc. does not wholesale these candles, nor do we ship outside the USA.

Love Candles - Hand poured to Attract My Soul Mate are ready for sale

The new collection of Love candles, hand poured into the Full Moon in the fixed Earth sign of Taurus are now ready for sale. These ritual candles were poured on November 2, 2009 when the Sun was in the fixed Water sign of  Scorpio.

I usually pour candles for love and marriage when the luminaries are in Earth and Water signs, as both are feminine, magnetic & nurturing in nature.. qualities that many people hope for in a long term romantic relationship.

Water and Earth signs are naturally compatible, and people born under these signs often have similar world views. I also pour candles for loving relationships when the Sun & Moon are in Fixed signs.

Fixed signs are perfecting and finishing in nature. While they can often be quite stubborn, they are quite able to make a commitment and stand by it,  no matter what. Again, these qualities are beneficial to a long term loving relationship.

The idea of "capturing" the energy of the moment is fundamental to the timing of each pour for the Moon Poured collection. These candles were poured before the Moon was full, so there is no danger of the energy of the Waning Moon affecting the ability of the candle to help you focus your thoughts.

For those new to candles poured by the signs, please know that the magic is always in your mind... the candles are poured to empower your meditation, prayer or ritual. They serve as focusing tools, or amplifiers by bringing both the energy of moment of their creation and the aromatherapy of the signature fragrance, again, hand blended in keeping with ancient herbal recipes, to help you draw right love into your life.

People often write to ask if they are born under signs other than Taurus or Scorpio to see if the candles will help them. Quite simply, yes. The idea of the pour is to capture the best possible energy of a moment, and Sun Scorpio, Waxing Moon Taurus is one of the very best moments to work for love.

All candles are sealed in cellophane the same day as they are created to ensure that the fragrance & the energy of the pour are as protected as possible. No one has handled your candle other than their maker.

Ritual instructions and an affirmation are included should you care to use them. Candles ship free by Priority Mail in the USA. As these are all hand poured at a very specific moment in time, quantities are limited. Please, one to a customer. Candles are $27 each, to purchase, please visit the Candle Store.

Protection Candles are Available for Sale

This exclusive collection of hand poured ritual candles was poured at 3:30 PM EDT, October 31, 2009. Mystics and occultists know the planetary day and hour for creating ritual objects impacts the spiritual power of that object. Should you care to cast a chart, notice 30° 19' 54" N / 81° 39' 20" W as the longitude & latitude of the pour.

The natural wax candles are scented with rosemary, cedar, cypress, frankincense, myrrh & other herbal ancient fragrances for psychic self-defense and spiritual protection.

A few notes from the ephemeris of the day show the following fortunate aspects:
Sun Scorpio - Conjunct Mercury Scorpio
Waxing Moon Aries - Sextile Jupiter
Venus in Libra - Trine Neptune in Aquarius.
Moon Aries - Trine Mars in Leo
Jupiter in Aquarius - conjunct Neptune in Aquarius.

In the Western Mystery Tradition, the veil between the worlds is thinnest on All Hallow's Eve. Other spiritual traditions, particularly celtic rites, celebrate this day as Samhain.

These natural wax candles are deep charcoal gray with feathering, like a dark angel's wing. They are excellent prayer candles to gather strength, or to request spiritual, physical or psychic protection. Each protection candle comes with a unique ritual affirmation skillfully written by Ann George to call down ancient energies to heal and protect the body, mind and spirit.

Candles are $40 each, with free shipping by Priority Mail in the USA only. As many customers have already pre-ordered, at present there are only 24 candles available to purchase. Should some orders not be filled, an update will reflect an increase in the number of candles for sale. Please.. one per customer.

For those new to candles by Ann George Studios, it is important to note that these are hand poured by Ann George, in sacred space, in focused attention, with the specific intent that these candles serve as tools for psychic self-defense, protection of all kinds, courage in the face of adversity and an increase in personal power.

Candles are poured, finished and sealed both spiritually, and in cellophane before the end of the day - 10.31.09. No one has handled them other than the maker. They will ship from my hand to yours. This attention to detail, to color, fragrance, timing & intent is what makes my hand poured candles different than other candles you may purchase elsewhere.

For more information about me, visit my Testimonials page. Due to the energetic nature of these candles, all sales are final, no returns are accepted. Please contact me BEFORE you purchase if you have any questions.

Reiki Healing Candle: Peaceful Home - Peaceful Mind

These crystalline Robin's egg blue candles were poured with a healing intent. The fragrance used "Bamboo Dream" is a synergy of aromas that combine both spicy and grassy notes to create the illusion of a soothing woodland breeze.

The benefit of these candles, most especially when used in conjunction with the affirmation included on the label, is to help one create a more balanced state of mind, improve one's skills when interacting with others, and to promote mental clarity and focus.

The remarkable benefit of Sun Libra, New Moon Libra, Mercury Libra and Venus Libra made this a most auspicious day to pour Healing candles in general, and Peaceful Home or House Blessing candles in particular.

This collection of Reiki charged healing candles was poured by Ann George Studios, Inc. @ 8:35 AM on Sunday, October 18, 2009 in Jacksonville, Florida. You may visit a natal chart for the candles from an excellent astrology website Chaos Astrology.

New Location for Candle Pouring - Lovely, Sacred Space

Thanks to all for your patience. As you may have noticed, it has been quite awhile since I last poured candles. It seemed time to move the Studios to new locations, and this process is now almost complete. I hope to have the new kitchen complete by the First of September at the latest.

The new collection of Protection candles will be poured on All Hallow's Eve as usual, and this year not only the timing of the pour, but the location & preparation of the space will afford a very personal & powerful energy to the collection.

I send all best wishes to you.. and of course thanks once again for your letters of encouragement.

Ever forward,

Ann George
