"Psychic advisors" and Candle Magic Scams.

I am sorry to say I spent a good deal of time on the phone this evening talking with a woman who as very agitated. 

She was very glad to have found my number and really wanted to tell me all about her love troubles and the magic work her "psychic advisor" was going to do for her. 

I did stop the woman before she told me the whole story, as repeating the story often sets the hook deeper. I just wanted to know the primary reason for her call. 

I did have to stop and get back to the point of the call a few times before I could understand that she had placed a good deal of faith and hope in a "psychic" who had been working with the caller about her love life. 

The short of the story is that the "advisor" had recommend the purchase of $3,100.00 in candles that the psychic would take to her mentor to have burned, in a sacred place, to remove obstacles that were keeping the woman's former lover from returning to her.

It seems the new love in the man's life had purchased powerful witchcraft and had ordered very dark spells to be placed on the man. This spell work caused the man to turn away from my caller (his true "twin flame") and to go with another woman. 

The man no longer called, sent flowers, sent cards, took my caller to dinner, in fact he had moved on and seemed to be "with" the new woman. 

The caller - let's call her Jane - had been consulting her "advisor" for some time, and had trust in her "psychic" because many of the things the psychic said had come true.  A good reader, authentic or cold, can foretell the future some of the time. The ethical reader seeks to empower the client. 

This kind of call, which I answer far too often, is why I started hand pouring candles by the signs. I feel it is very important that people understand that they are the magic.  Prayer and meditation can change the world. If you change yourself everyone around you will change in reply. 

The cunning "advisors" know that some people lack self confidence, or some want what they want so very badly that they will go to any length to get what they want.    

The energetic or spiritual problems with hiring a psychic to burn candles for you, or to have her priestess burn those candles (that you will never see because they are shipped off to a private temple somewhere) are many. 

First - you are turning a good deal of money, and trust, and energy over to someone who promises to make your true love return to you. 

 

* Please notice that in this con it is very common for:

1. The magic to be stronger than the "advisor" first thought so you will have to buy more candles. 
2. You will do something wrong that breaks the work the priestess is doing and she will have to begin again which will cost more money.
3. The results are coming, you just have to be patient and have faith (this is when the "advisor" stops returning your calls.)

The ugly side of this kind of action is that is horribly selfish. I feel it is a form of energetic abuse at best. Really - who has the right, who is so important that they may make another person love them? 

Buying "magic" to make someone love you is not the action of a loving heart. Please - think about it. We reap what we sow. 

The candles I sell are poured to help you change you. My candles come with affirmations you repeat while you are burning the candle (a focusing tool)  so that you become more magnetic to love, success, money all by changing your mind. There must be a space in your understanding of the possible for the things you want to appear. 

As well, we may want all sorts of things, however if we do not do the work it takes to bring them to us not much will come of wanting.

I have not now, nor will I ever sell a product that is created to act on another person. By the law of causality, you shall reap the bitter fruit of forcing your will on another. I cannot participate in that, nor can I endorse it.

Let me just say again: If a psychic, seer, mystic, root worker, witch, or shaman wants to sell you magic please look to your heart and see if your motive is pure and comes from love.   

Please be prepared to spend all your savings, perhaps borrow from friends and family to continue to pay the money you need because the "work is almost done now."

I have seldom seen the bad luck lifted, the curse is removed, or the lover returned. Before  you part with your money please do a bit of research. 

Speak with a teacher in your spiritual tradition, and then realize that if you are working with a healer, they will be charging a set fee per session to heal you! 

There are cultures and traditions where shamans and priestesses do great work, and can perform wonderful actions, great healing and sometimes even miracles. I have great respect for the true energy workers who help and heal. 

I have never seen the great sorcerers sell their magic power for dollars. It just doesn't work like that. I hope you find this article helpful. If you are in the middle of a con like this may I suggest that you step away. 

Often if you just stop paying, stop calling, and let your mind rest you will get some clarity.     

Please know that I believe in the multiverse theories of reality. I do believe that magic exists in many forms. I do believe that there are fine and powerful minds capable of all sorts of miracles. 

I know there are all kinds of sprits around us all the time. There are spirits of people, of places, of animals and plants. There are unseen energies that effect us all. I am not intending to make fun of anyone who has cultural values that are different that mine. 

I have an abiding respect for all mystery schools. If you seek a shaman, perhaps your shaman will appear. Seek with a pure heart for right work and you will find your power.

Mayan Calendar • Winter Solstice • Sacred Days Candle

This may be one of the most remarkable candle collections I have ever poured. There are three astrologic events that make this such and important candle. I am pleased to say these candles are now for sale and ready to ship.

The astrologic moment that received the most attention was that of 12/21/2012 and it's relationship to  the Mayan Calendar.  Various interpretations of the significance of the date proposed that this moment marked the End of the World, others saw it as the moment of a New Calendar or a New Era in human evolution. I do not recall too many dates that have received such attention for global transformation. 

Of great interest to me is a second prophecy, or astrologic awareness that received almost no attention ( by design ). The day, 12/21/2012, and the time in particular (6:11 AM EST) of this pour, was predicted by some Native American tribes of the American South West to be the moment when our earth was in alignment with the center of the galaxy, and therefore marking the beginning of a New Phase.  I offer many thanks to my spiritual collaborator in sacred astrology and spiritual ceremony for bringing this time to my attention. 

In the Western calendar, December 21st of most any year marks the Winter Solstice.  This year,  at 6:11 AM EST the Sun was at 0 degrees Capricorn, 00 minutes Capricorn. To me this is a breath taking coincidence for the following reasons:

When teaching Tarot from the Hermetic perspective, and in particular empowered by the wisdom of Daniel C. Matt and his book on the Tree of Life, I always talk about the "inhale" -  the in breath before the great exhale of the Creator that was/is the "Big Bang" or the creation of our known world. To me, the most sacred moment is the moment before the kiss, before the brush is dipped in paint, before the chisel strikes the stone, for in that moment........ all is possible. At 6:11 AM EST at my longitude and latitude, the Sun was 0 degrees Capricorn and 00 minutes Capricorn..... the ultimate galactic inhale!

On 12/21/2012 I arose at 4:11 AM to ensure that all would be ready. The molds were prepared, the wax was melted, the fragrances were blended and "oned"  with each other and the purpose of the candle. All time keeping devices were synchronized so that I could actually begin to pour at exactly 6:11 AM. I continued in one pointed and sacred attention to pour candles as quickly as possible until 6:12 AM. For this reason, the collection is quite small. (The candles cooled throughout the day and were finished and sealed before nightfall. They were not left unattended. Sacred space was not broken.) 

It was therefore thrilling to see the Celtic Solstice in keeping with Native astrology at 6:11 AM for a rare alignment of another galactic world view. I did not choose to place an extravagant price on candles that capture this rare moment, rather to add only $5 to the usual price. This makes the total of the cost of the candles to be - in numerology  a "9" - Foundation - the sphere of the Moon on the Tree of LIfe.

I could continue to write at length about the phase of the Moon or the meanings of Earth signs, however, for those who already understand the candle, and the timing of it..... all that information is icing on an remarkable cake. For those unfamiliar with energy healing, vibrational healing, sacred days and the power of the energy of moments, there is little I could write that would make the candle more that a curio.

However, the affirmation for this candle affirms your endurance, immortality, wisdom, and one ness with the nature of all things. I took great care in writing a meditation that would be worthy of such an auspicious time. This candle will be excellent to help open the crown chakra, for all chakra work in general, and to bring a sense of peace and personal power to you.

Protection Candles - Dove Grey Natural Wax Candles by Ann George

Moon poured Protection candles were hand poured in sacred space with clear intent on October 31, 2010 at 8:00 PM EDT. All Hallows Eve, also known as Samhain (Celtic) or Nos Galan Gaeaf (Welsh), has been celebrated for centuries. Sacred or Holy days that are traditionally observed for a special purpose are excellent time to pour candles as the energy or intent of that day blesses the pour.

In Western traditions All Hallows Eve has long been regarded as a day when veil that separates the world of the living from the realm of the dead is thin, and ancient traditions made this day either one of making offering to the dead or of taking care to ensure that the dead did not disturb the living.

I pour candles on this day with the intention that sacred space is maintained for the user of the candle. It may seem strange to some, but over the past ten years, it feels as if I am energetically welcomed to pour by those energies that abide in unseen spiritual realms.

Just as we are careful when we travel to a new city or country, so too is it wise to be careful when we travel between the worlds. Those who are new to divination, or who are are in active occult practice will find these candles very useful, as the candles are "charged" to ensure that unwelcome, malevolent, disruptive or damaging spiritual energies do not cross the veil. These natural wax candles are scented with rosemary, cedar, cypress, frankincense, myrrh & other ancient fragrances for psychic and spiritual protection. Prayers were said, mantra chanted, and the natural wax melted slowly in pots of boiling water. The energy of Fire and Water united to melt the Earth aspect ( wax ) in the Air energy of spoken sacred sounds.

Spring Equinox Candles _ Harmony Fragrance

I have the Spring Equinox candles ready for sale now. They were poured 3/20/08 with Sun in the cardinal Fire sign of Aries and the Moon waxing to full the the mutable Earth sign of Virgo.
There seems to be opposing energies at work in a perfect push/pull way that I find very useful. I am reminded of the lesson of how to balance a broom on your fingers. It is only possible to keep the broom from falling by keeping the fingers, hand, and arm in gentle motion.
The Air/Earth contrast of the Luminaries, the conflicting Element & Conjunction energies of the Tibetan calendar weighed against the equal hours of light & dark, make this Spring Equinox a good time to pour with the intent that one achieve balance in body, speech, mind... or thought, word & deed.
I choose a soft canary yellow to recall the color of the solar plexus chakra, the energy wheel that is central to the system. Energy healers & Reiki practitioners may well choose this as a personal centering tool.

Protection Candles - Hand Poured 10/31/07

These ritual candles were hand poured October 31, 2007 with the Waning Moon in Cancer and the Sun in Scorpio. Waning moons are best used to help release unwanted energies. That both Sun & Moon are in water signs is excellent to invoke the cleansing energy of the water element to purify your space.

Further, the natural palm oil wax candles are scented with rosemary, frankincense, myrrh & cinnamon, clove & other herbal fragrances for psychic and spiritual protection. The wax comes from sources that grow above the surface of earth, again invoking the elements of space & fire... or air & sun.. to cleanse the environment or person you seek to protect.

Other spiritual traditions celebrate this day as Samhain, while other choose this day to honor the dead.
