Hand poured on 3/30/15 at 6:30 PM EDT, this collection of Success Ritual Candles was poured for meditations to manifest confidence, and success in any endeavor. For this Moon Pour on on 3/30/15 at 6:30 PM EDT,  the Sun was in the Cardinal Fire sign of Aries. Fire signs vibrate in a direct, energetic & masculine energy frequency. Aries is the sign of “I Am” and thus an excellent sign to help bring forward confidence, energy and enthusiasm for any project. 

Cardinal signs are initiating signs, which means they have the great “pushing energy” that brings forth the new season. It is always useful to pour for success when the Sun is in a cardinal Fire sign. 

For this pour,  the Moon was waxing to full in the Fixed Fire sign of Leo, which, in  addition to bringing the qualities of the element of Fire to the candle, also brings the energy of a Fixed sign to the pour.

We all know that Air feeds Fire and born on the Air, Fire can be used for many beneficial activities. The Success Ritual candles are usually poured as the Moon is waxing to Full. Good Full Moon energy is excellent to charge your candle with the blessings of the sign she is in.

I was tempted to pour this candle earlier in the day while the Moon was in the Earth Sign of Virgo. I wanted to bring the energy of analytic balance and generative nurturing to the pillar. In an effort to capture some of those fine qualities, I began to melt the wax at 4:30 PM EDT when the Moon was leaving Virgo, and moving into Libra. The actual pouring did occur Moon Libra.

The ephemeris included on your candle label will show the positions of the planets at the time of the pour, however as there were so many Planets will aspected, I will list a few here.

Success Candle - Full Moon Pour -  The Harvest Moon - 0/29/12

It has been quite awhile since I last poured candles as there were some Aspects and Moments I preferred to let pass before making candles for ritual, prayer and meditation.

I am pleased to say the new collection of Success Candles is well worth the wait. I have used one myself prior to offering any for sale to ensure that the intended goals may be achieved with proper use. ( Instructions for candle burning as well as an affirmation is included on the label. )

This collection was poured September 29, 2012 on the night the Moon came to Full in the Cardinal Fire Sign of Aries. This Moon is also called the Harvest Moon, thus, to my mind, a perfect time to pour candles created to attract success, wealth, victory, praise, recognition, and validation.

Aries, the first sign of the Western Zodiac, is the sign of identity. The key words for Aries are "I Am." So, should you desire nothing more than increased self-confidence, this candle will vibrate to that proud frequency of celebration of identity. A Cardinal (Initiating,) Fire (Masculine, Direct & Energetic) sign, Aries energy helps to strengthen the inner fire that enables one to continue to work to reach one's goals.

For this candle, the Sun was in the Cardinal (Initiating,) Air (Masculine, Direct & Energetic) sign of Libra. While Libra energy often brings balance, properly aspected, it is excellent to fuel positive competitive energy to keep you going, aware of your actions, the consequences of your actions and the effect of those actions on others.

Success candles are poured when the luminaries (Sun and Moon) are in compatible signs, and always when the moon is on the increase (waxing.) On Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at 9:36 PM EDT just before the moon went full at 10:06, I hand poured a small collection of natural wax pillar candles.

These success candles have the following qualities, due to the moment of their creation:

The Sun was in the cardinal Air sign of Libra. Libra energy in this case will help to bring diplomacy, kindness, artistic energy and creative thinking to endeavors. Libra is a masculine sign, therefore direct and energetic and, as a Cardinal sign, Libra energy is ready to act, to go to do and to find supporters for the cause.

Sometimes accused of being competitive, properly managed, this determination coupled with an awareness of the actions of others is excellent when starting a new business, seeking a raise or promotion, or just standing out from the crowd in the best way possible.

The Moon was also in a cardinal sign for this pour, the Fire sign of Aries, ruled by the planet Mars. Mars is the rulers of all sorts of activities requiring skill, determination, and stamina to bring them to a successful outcome.

All of the cardinal qualities listed for Libra apply, but manifesting through Aries, there is a great energy of confidence in identity, in the self. Aries can be a very enthusiastic sign, which is excellent energy to succeed. Fire and Air are very compatible, and as this is obvious, I will not go into greater detail.

When is it best to burn moonpoured candles?

I am happy to reply to this excellent question for the benefit of all shoppers at the Moon poured Candle Store.
Here we go:

Greetings Ann,

I recently received two of your candles as a gift from a wonderful new friend. The Reiki Healing Candle and the Success Candle. Is there a sequence that I should follow with these candles (e.g., Reiki first and Success second or visa versa? )
I am anxious to start using them and I want to make sure that I do it correctly for the best results.

When I hand pour the candles, I try to create beautiful tools to serve as "complete little units of intention". What I mean by that is that each candle in and of itself is poured to make the best use of color, fragrance, intent, moon phases and sun times so that you may burn your candle at anytime. The idea is to instill in the molten wax, all the best possible ingredients to heal the body, mind and spirit so that you may manifest the healing, success, wealth or love that you want in your life.

If you prefer to work with the affirmation included in the Reiki Candle first, focusing exclusively on that before you move on to use the Success Candle, this is fine. If you prefer to manifest Success in the morning, then have a peaceful healing candle meditation that evening, also fine. I don't think burning both at once would be very helpful, as the meditation/affirmation part of the right use of candles in ritual matters. In fact, it is your intent, your prayers, your own personal inner voice that makes candle ritual effective. Thus, your inner voice is the best guide to follow when choosing when or how to use of the candles. The labile, instructions and affirmation are for your benefit, and serve to help you choose the candle that is the right one for you.
