Winter Solstice Candles: Heart Chakra Healing Candles

This limited collection of Sacred Day candles was poured on the Winter Solstice which occurred 12/21/09. The candles were poured  at at 9:30 PM EST in a natural palm oil wax which gives this crystalline appearance and are cobalt blue in color.

I think it is important to notice that the candles were poured just as the Sun moved into the Cardinal Earth sign of Capricorn in the Third House. As well, the Moon was Waxing to full in the mutable Water sign of Pisces.

Spring Equinox Candles _ Harmony Fragrance

I have the Spring Equinox candles ready for sale now. They were poured 3/20/08 with Sun in the cardinal Fire sign of Aries and the Moon waxing to full the the mutable Earth sign of Virgo.
There seems to be opposing energies at work in a perfect push/pull way that I find very useful. I am reminded of the lesson of how to balance a broom on your fingers. It is only possible to keep the broom from falling by keeping the fingers, hand, and arm in gentle motion.
The Air/Earth contrast of the Luminaries, the conflicting Element & Conjunction energies of the Tibetan calendar weighed against the equal hours of light & dark, make this Spring Equinox a good time to pour with the intent that one achieve balance in body, speech, mind... or thought, word & deed.
I choose a soft canary yellow to recall the color of the solar plexus chakra, the energy wheel that is central to the system. Energy healers & Reiki practitioners may well choose this as a personal centering tool.
The fragrance is a delightful juxtaposition of masculine & feminine, spicy & floral, gentle & robust scents. I really like and find it both invigoration & soothing at the same time.

Winter Solstice Candles - Sacred Dream - Lucid Dreams

The new collection of Winter Solstice candles are now ready for sale. For indepth information on the Winter Solstice in general, I invite you to visit this fine article.Hand poured on December 22, 2007, these palm oil candles have a unique feathered texture and soft, smooth feel. They are very long burning and have a cotton wick. (The candles are a bit darker blue than they seem in my browser.)

I created a Sacred Dream fragrance to honor the longest night of the year, and to provide a soothing energy to the dream state. The scent is a blend of Frankincense, Patchouli, Egyptian Musk, Herbs & Spices. I think it has meadow green top notes, an earthy base and a citrus undertone. The fragrances are gently released as the candle burns, so the fragrance is not over powering.

On this day/night, the Moon was in Gemini, a mutable Air sign. The advantages of the Moon in Air for a Sacred Dream intention is that dream, like thoughts & words are air energy experiences... fleeting, intangible yet powerful and moving. Mutable signs area flexible, versatile & adaptable, so for those who seek to perfect lucid dreaming, the mutable qualities of Gemini Moon are well suited to this outcome.

Some clients use this candle to help heal Throat Chakra issues, particularly those where one feels restricted, unable to speak out, speak up or sometimes even to voice issues that are important. These issues are often played out in our dreams, sometimes causing nightmares.

It is not my intention to present these candles as remedies, but as tools to help you focus, to transform, or simply to honor the movement of the heavens & the sacred days of ancients. Blue Moon Poured Blessing Candles - Chakra Candles

I am pleased to offer these Blue Moon poured Blessing Candles for sale. There are so many different energetic aspects to this small collection, I hope you will bear with while I try to cover the most important points.

First, my intent in pouring the candles is that they empower you to bring about Blessings of every kind. You may use them to offer blessings & prayers for the benefit of others, or to open your heart and mind to receive all the abundant blessings availalbe to you right now. This intention honors the very powerful day on which they were poured.

These natural wax pillars were poured during the Full Moon of 5/21/07. This year, this day marks the celebration of the Enlightenment of Shakyamuni Buddha. Called Veshak, or Saga Dawa, there are many fine articles available on the web for your review. Here is a short article on the importance of the Full Moon in candle pouring.

While there are many different ways to see the world, some cultures hold the view that we are really in a mulit dimensional reality, and that everything is really happening all at once. Many validate the idea that words, or rituals, or even moments in time, sacred days, accumulate power because they have been honored, or celebrated by many peoples for thousands of years. I believe that these ideas are valid... and they affect the timing of all the candles I make.

The color was also a careful choice. I allowed the pure, almost dazzling, crystalline white of the palm oil wax to shine as itself to represent purity, illumination & of course, the sacred. The candles are tipped in red to honor the union of earth and air, or flesh & spirit, the oneness of the divinity in the material of every living creature.

The astrology of the day, Sun Gemini, Moon Scorpio is also very interesting in that we have Air & Water, or Spirit & Emotion, Mind & Heart, vibrating in the planets that light our world. I will update this post with more information in the near future.
