I poured this collection of Money candles some months ago, but it is today that I feel able to put them up for sale. The Solar Eclipse has come and gone. Hurricane Irma has come and gone, leaving a good deal of devastation in my state.

When finished, all candles are sleeved in cellophane to keep fragrance in! Traditional fragrances to evoke luxury, wealthy, success and prosperity have been used to make a signature scent. 

These candles have been waiting, in sacred space, and have not been seen nor handled by anyone but me. These are artisan candles, hand crafted those who appreciate the importance of astrology in manifestation.

Money Candle Astrology

At the moment the melted wax met the mold, the following list shows the placement of the planets:

The Sun was 16 degrees 47 minutes in Capricorn. Capricorn is the Cardinal Earth sign that initiates winter and is quite powerful. Qualities of Capricorn energy can be beneficial for the creation of wealth as well as the analysis and careful management of that wealth once created. All Earth signs are magnetic, generating, and attracting. 

The Moon was 1 degrees and 00 minutes in the sign of Taurus. The moon was just stepping into Taurus. The fixed, perfecting energy of Taurus bless the energy of the pour, but also the cardinal qualities always found in the first10 degrees of a sign lend tremendous energy for new ventures!! This is as pure a moment of astrological timing as ever I have seen.

The Sun in Capricorn was Conjunct Pluto in Capricorn. ( A very powerful push for initiating business)

A Grand Trine of Earth signs captured in a Money Candle.

Astrology of Grand Trine Money Candles

I am pleased to point out a very fortunate aspect in the Day Poured Money candles made on 12/22/15. This was a pour at 1 PM EST. I am always careful to check the ephemeris each day I pour candles to “capture” the very best influences - or magnetic frequencies - to benefit your candle meditations.

I pour candles to attract money in the Earth signs. Years of pouring by the signs confirm that pouring in the Earth signs yield very powerful candles to attract material wealth, money, new business, more business and success in real estate sales. 

This pour I was able to capture the energy of one of the most fortunate astrologic aspects - the Grand Trine. There are any sources for more information on Grand Trines, some quite in depth. I will review what I believe are the key points to consider.

A “Trine” means three planets are in relationship to each other in such a way that if lines were drawn to connect the three, you would see a triangle shape. 

Trines are favorable aspects because the three planets involved are considered to be in a harmonious relationship with one another brining a peaceful blessing to the event that occurs at that time. 

Grand Trines occur when the Planets are all in the same Element. In this case the three planets below were all in Earth signs.

Now to explore each planet in each sign.

The Moon was waxing (appearing to increase is size) which is fortunate for attracting things we want was 17 degrees and 46 minutes in the Earth sign of Taurus.

Taurus is the sign of “I have”. Taurus is also a fixed sign, a feminine sign and therefore magnetic, generating and receptive. Taurus energy is associated with prosperity, beauty, and material wealth. It is also a perfecting and finishing sign. All these qualities are very helpful when you want to draw money to you.


Mercury the planet that governs communication was 18 degrees and 09 minutes it the Earth sign of Capricorn. Some say Capricorn energy is ambitions, wise, discipled and patient.

Capricorn energy is a Cardinal sign and all cardinal signs are initiators. They bring a push of intention to accomplish their goal. Capricorn is the Earth sign whose watchwords are “I Analyze.” What better influence to bring to your meditations on wealth than a clear and calculating mind that is able to see and make best use of opportunities to prosper.

Jupiter is referred to as the “Great Benefactor” of the Heavens. Jovial, expansive, generous and adventurous energy is associate with this planet. Luckily it was 22 degrees and 47 minutes in the house of Virgo.

Virgo energy is industrious, ambitious and methodical and best of all reliable. (Virgo is ruled by Mercury - so another lovely blessing for the pour.)

In this Grand Trine, we have all sorts of fortunate energy as the wax melts, the candle is poured promptly at 1:00PM and cools through the rest of this celestial event.

All are sleeved in cellophane (biodegradable) to keep fragrance in, and none have been seen nor handled by anyone save their maker. These are artisan candles for those who appreciate the importance of astrology in manifestation.

This December 22, 2015 I was able to pour two collections of money candles. The first was poured at 1pm EST and are referred to as Day Pour. The second collection was poured at 9 PM EST and are thus called Night Pour. 

I have been making empowered candles for ritual use for over 10 years. There are specific times in the lunar cycle that are best for pouring each of the kinds of candles I make. This year, it was difficult to find the right combination of luminaries to create premium candles for you.  The astrology of this pour is good.

The Day Pour:

The Sun was 0 degrees 21 minutes Capricorn. Capricorn is the Cardinal Earth sign that initiates winter and is quite powerful. Qualities of Capricorn energy can be beneficial for the creation of wealth as well as the analysis and careful management of that wealth once created. All Earth signs are magnetic, generating, and attracting. 

The Moon was 21 degrees and 57 minutes in the sign of Taurus. The moon was in the last decan of that sign, so not only does the fixed, perfecting energy of Taurus bless the energy of the  pour, but also mutable qualities always found in the last 10 degrees of a sign lend the energy of adaptation, a polishing to the energy contained in these money candles. 

As well, the Moon was in its’ own House, the Second house, the house of Taurus. Capricorn was also in its’ own house - the 10th house. You may read more about the houses of the zodiac in general - however this a very beneficial alignment of the luminaries. Sun and Moon in Earth signs and those Earth signs in their houses. 

Finally - there was a Grand Trine during the Day Pour. The Grand Trine presented the  Moon at 21 Taurus 57 Mercury: 18 Capricorn 34 and Jupiter: 22 Virgo 48

This short list of qualities should assure that that every effort was made to create in concert with the heavens. An ephemeris is included on the back of your candles label.  You may cast a chart if you like. To purchase a Day Pour please do so quickly as once these are gone, they cannot be recreated. 

Night Poured

The Night Pour.

As in the day pour, we have both Sun and Moon in Earth signs. 

The Sun is 0 degrees Capricorn 54 minutes and in the 4th house. The Moon is near the end of its journey at 29 degrees Taurus and 42 minutes in the 8th house. 

The same qualities described above for the basic energies of the Sun and Moon apply. The Grand Trine has passed, the constellations are no longer in their houses, and so this evening pour has a different energy that the day pour. 

This Money Candle may be of better use to those who have acquired wealth and now seek to manage it. Those who wish to mediate on way to improve their process, to have obstacles revealed and to acquire the insight and the tension to solve their existing challenges thus ensuring that both existing and attracted wealth build upon one another for right use, right work, right blessing.

Waiting for the Moon • The Astrology of Pouring Money Candles

At the time of writing tis post it was 8:30 AM Eastern here at the Studio. I am now waiting for the movement of the heavens and the best alignment of the luminaries (Sun & Moon) to pour for Money Candles to attract wealth. 

Many calendars show that the Sun moving in to Capricorn (a cardinal Earth sign) yesterday, the 21st of December, and in some locations that may be true. 

Here at 8:00 Am the Sun  is just 0 degrees and 8 minutes into Capricorn, in the Second house, the house of Taurus.

This is very fortunate for the Moon is  at 18 degrees 59 minutes Taurus, the planet of the second house! At 10:00 AM the Sun will be 0 degrees and 13 minutes Capricorn and the Moon 20 degrees and 9 minutes Taurus.

I will begin the process of smudging and cleaning the candles worship at 9:00 AM and I believe I will begin to melt the wax about 10:00 AM EST. I have a very small window to pour today as there are only 30 degrees to each house of the Zodiac. 

At 4:00 AM on Wednesday the Moon will have moved into the sign of Gemini and the power of  the Earth energy will be lost for the pour. 

An early start today may allow time for the 6” x 2” pillars to cool and be taken from the mold so that I may pour a second collection. This natural palm wax - from a renewables vendor! - melts at 200 degrees, so it can take up to three or four hours for the candles to cool enough to slip form the mold. 

I will decide the color and fragrance at the time of pouring. Most always, Money candles are a shade of green and will include Bayberry fragrance as well a mixture of other scents that are traditionally used to attract wealth, heal the mind and spirit from thoughts of fear and lack. 

The candles are always placed in cellophane sleeve once they are finished to ensure that the always smell first day fresh no matter when you buy them. I will post an announcement and put a shopping cart button on line when they are are. 

I intend to have at least 24 for sale and more if time permits.

Money Candles - Hand Poured by the Signs

Many people are no longer advised by the luminaries. Once, before a building was erected, a ship launched, a war waged, astrologers were consulted. In many parts of the world, people still look to spiritual advisors for the best time to begin a new activity, make a marriage or open a business. 

In our modern culture, where even the stars may be obscured by light pollution, the idea of consulting the heavens may seem odd, and yet, I have been pouring candles by the signs for over 15 years now.  I plant by gardens by the signs, as did my Great Aunt before me. My memories of her advise me more often now than ever.

This new collection of Money Candles now for sale was poured, as are most all Money candles, with the luminaries (Sun & Moon) in Earth signs. Earth signs are the feminine, the nurturing as well as the receptive and generating signs.

Taurus, the Fixed sign with the watchwords “I Have” is an excellent placement for the Sun - the Fire energy of that drive our pure nature.  Taurus energy ensures that we will have wealth, beauty, luxuries, and the determination to preserve the wealth we accumulate.  Taurus gives the determination and perfecting energy necessary to attract and keep wealth. 

The Moon was in the Mutable Earth sign of Virgo for this pour. Mutable signs are excellent astrologic companions to the fixed sign. Mutable signs are adaptable, versatile, energetic and solution oriented! What better energy to bring to rituals and meditations to change our ideas about money, wealth, abundance and our worthiness to receive all those many blessings? 

The candles are bit more teal than their usual “dollar bill “ color. It was a joyful spring day when I poured, and Jade was a nice color to add to the usual palette blend. 

The fragrance, as always, is a signature blend of traditional herbal and floral scents long used by ancients to draw money in all its many forms.  The pillar wax is petroleum free. In fact, it is play wax, and I am pleased to say that after much research I found a company that sells palm wax from an ethical growers who does indeed replant what is harvested. 

I remain a “green company” so your candles may come wrapped in kraft paper, packed with shreds of recycled bubble stuff - but know that there is very little waste at Ann George Studios, Inc.  Further, your support - your purchases - help me maintain my small apiary out back.

Money Candles will be hand poured on December 22 (after 6 PM EST) through December 23 of 2014.

I have checked the ephemeris to be sure of the days and time for pouring Money candles. I am pleased to say that I can pour beginning at 6 PM on 12/22/14 and continue through 12/23/14 ending at that same time. These Money candles will thus be Sun Capricorn & Moon Capricorn, and will be most excellent for business concerns, matters of real property, long term investments, and plans to attract as much wealth/money from your efforts and industry.

I have seen a variety of "money" candles for sale of late. Some are actually images of money, or symbols used to represent money. It seems that these are to be burned to attract money. In general, one does not set fire to that which one wants. Metaphysically, burning money, or symbols of money is not the best way to attract wealth. I am pleased to post that I will be pouring for Monday late December of this year. I realize that it is inconvenient of me not to have Money candles more readily available. In general I pour three times a year - when the Sun in in an Earth sign, and her sister the same.

As I hand pour my candles, as they are poured by no one else, seen by no one else..... and poured to the phase of the Moon, I pour as many as I can each time. In general I am currently able to pour 2 or 3 dozen a Sun sign. 

Many money candles are mass produced in factories.  Mass produced items most always lack the power of focused intent. Intention is everything is manifestation. It is your intention and focus that actually brings the things you want, money, love, healing or success into your life. 

If you choose a ritual tool, a meditation support, that is created with the intent that you should manifest that which you seek, this tool will be more powerful than a mass produced item because the maker will be creating your candle (or other tool) with the one pointed intention that the object be specifically created to help you achieve your purpose.

(Recently I have seen money candles offered for sale that are made in the likeness of dollars, coins, or icons for money. In western culture, we do not burn what we value. The idea of burning the image of what we want is - to me - counterintuitive.)

The new collection of Money candles was poured on January 14, 2011 with the Sun in the cardinal Earth sign of Capricorn and the Waxing Moon in the fixed Earth sign of Taurus.

Many of you know that I usually pour for Money when the Sun is in Taurus. This year I experienced what is best described as "a hesitation" to pour. Energetically, I could not find the right time, nor the "right feeling" to make candles to attract wealth until just recently.

Money Candles - Sun Taurus - Moon Virgo - ready for sale

The new collections of money candles were poured on April 16th and April 17th of 2008. I am putting the collection poured 4/17 on sale first, and this article addresses the specifics of that particular collection. (Clicking the title of this post will take you to the candle store.)

On April 17, the Sun was in the fixed Earth sign of Taurus. I always pour money candles for business, freedom from debt, and other kinds of material success when the Sun is in the Earth signs. Taurus is the sign most often associated with accumulation of material possessions, and in astrology primers, the watch word for Taurus is "I have." Earth signs offer magnetic, nurturing and generating energy to the pouring of candles. Fixed sign energy is perfecting & finishing energy which I find helpful to bring focused intent to the affirmation of attracting wealth.

On April 17,the moon was waxing to full in the Earth sign of Virgo, thus we have double Earth sign energy vibrating into the pour. Mutable signs are flexible, versatile & adaptable.. all excellent qualities for successful wealth management.
